playing around with some environments for a game im currently working on.
thought i would post them here, to get some feedback and to make sure i dont give up half way, because im too lazy.

making sprites this huge is a bad idea in my book, not only will they take you ages to finish, but they also require you to be much more precise with the animation. 

check it out, she's the same size as the guilty gear sprite, i would shrink her down to SF3 size, that way it'll be a more manageable project.

love the character designs and art on the website  btw.
the project looks really cool.

thanks all

working on the animations for the girl at the moment.
so theres not really anything new to see yet.



Faceless:
1. yeah the bg isn't done yet, its just a placeholder until i have something better.

2. sailing(exploring) and battling enemies, in the form of other ships and monsters, were meant to the main portions of the game.

3. yeah the foreground and its palette is pretty final, bg is just a quick sketch.

gamemaker is pretty cool, i haven't played with it too much yet though, so i might change my mind later on ;)

PURPLE is awesome  :y:

because the projects i've worked on until now, never works out in the end. people always get tired and give up.
also, this way, i get to decide everything myself :crazy:

thanks for the comments and edits :)

yeah i need to do something about the cacti, a slight color change might be all thats needed, same goes for the bg.
dont really want to add an outline to the slimes, they are meant to be made of water, so adding a outline will make them look too solid.

nah the only game im actually going to make.... or try to at least... until i get bored of it, is the platformer :)
