As I say earlier, I use small jump's for animation girl-dragon. And fixed some frame - something as you say, Turbo.
           
Maybe need the same animation for both?

But with his teeth. Ptoing is right - it's not light understand... look as strange nose. Try remove strong line on chin to mouth and face is obtain a less fractional - something like on sharprm but more less this line on face.

Maybe less head bounce? But on surface he is look not too bad...

Maybe you think about basic atmosphere? More darkness, contrast, dramatic. You cave is too light, more depth and lose detail on back wall - than she go more to back. Some recolor on dragon.
Somethinks like this:

And of course the highlights, remove unnecessary details for accent on primary scene (battle) and work with form more on dragon and man?

If you decide to keep this, i suggest making his head move forward and down more with each step, showing more weight, and make the forward paws step further front, and cross his back legs when he takes a step with the hind legs (like racing dogs do while running).

No about head, but Yes about other, most likely. ))  Maybe I decide this move, but for dragon-girl. And I have only 32x64 for animation - I fear this not enough for long throw of back legs, but I am try.

Hi.
He needs more brutal, like on front view. Work with forms you person than do animation.
Now you animation for different persons, not for one.
Animation from this side is too flat and not enough move shoulder.

But reflex line is not so constant, more play on this line, in some piece she is must be a lost. Now his stomach look as soap bubble )).

AT LAST!!!
I am finished other task - now time to animate dragons!!!
The first sketch animation for the boy:

I like this motion, but this motion - it's small jumps, i tried do another motion like a varan (giant lizard), maybe this will be more useful... will see.

dragonrc Thanks - after you edit, i think a one-color skin is unless, just all colors will be with light front side (like on you edit)
