Also, I'm not exactly sure others will agree, but her further hand looks odd when it pops out like that during the walk. It looks more like it goes in a straight arc than in an arc and bend somewhat normally like her more visible one.

Somewhat oddly large hair, but that's the least important thing. You ought to work on the face a tad, since it seems odd that the eye (farthest) looks like it just wraps around, pull the eyes closer to give the face more viewing space. Also, when I look upon it a bit more (The neck has a different lightsource too.), it seems the eye just sticks out of the face.

No offense, but you will really have to work VERY hard on getting the walking animation right, as it is, it's very bad, sorry. Legs and arms never skip like that whenever you walk, however, I'll compliment you atleast, I like how much he skips like that.. He reminds me of Monkey Island' Stan, with his insane arm movement. :)

Wow.

Looks like a rather beautiful environment, really, I hope you don't lose your will to work on it anytime soon. However, the dirt seems to fade with the. yellow grass/rocks kind of awkwardly, one of my only few criticism here. That, and you might have to anti-alias/AA or darken that bright shade on the tall grass.

Alright then,



my crappy lil' mockup, 13 colors in all. Ship autofires, the game would work with the button with a variable option:

Player presses button once, he goes up as long as he holds it. Once he releases, the next press (and hold subsequently) will be down, and vice versa. The player has 4 'cores' (Lives), the 4th one is standardly half-destroyed, there would be power ups along the level. The first level would most likely surviving enough so you can get out of the planet before it goes supernova. :P

Yeah, sorry for the glow underneath, I had no great ideas and I REALLY need to brush up on my BG skills. =/
