I think it looks very good, I'd tone down the skin a little bit. He looks like he belongs in an adventure game though! :crazy:

Okay so I am making a game. And I have this guy named Ben:

And I have tried all day to make a walk cycle but I've never really animated anything before. And this is a tiny sprite I can only add maybe 2 pixels in each direction. I tried to do a side view but it looks kinda strange:

I'd really like some help with this. I know there are those things that show walk cycles frame by frame. but they don't really work with something this small. ???

All righty, took most of the ideas from the edits and here is what I got,

I think it's looking much much better. Here is one with starts too.

Any more ideas? :) Also I have hardly made any characters in my life, and making one around the size of a 16x16 tile is pretty tough. If anyone could help me come up with ideas I'd love to hear them.

Hello everyone I've started work on a small platformer game for fun, he's some of the tiles I've been making.

C&C Please! I used Arne's 16 color palette V20. And got the inspiration from this. My game isn't actually going to be set in Roman time though.

Hello again! :) Today I would like some opinions about these apartment floors.

The Top floor are scaled down textures with a bit of hand drawn fix-ups.

The Bottom floor is entirely hand drawn.

I want to know which one you think is best. ;D This is for a demake mock-up of Max Payne.
