Heya,

It looks nice! But it needs more drama I think :] If it is intended to be like a glowing fire below him I think you will have to up the contrast between the glow and the shading. Also  those 4 pixels in the glasses makes it look like he is looking in different directions with each eye.
Hereīs a bad attempt at raising the drama:

Heya,

Its right arm looks like itīs its left arm drawn from behind since It isnīt bending like on a humanoid but instead like it would do an a cat or a dog, maybe this is in the design though? Also, from which way are the light coming from? It looks like different parts are lighted in different ways, only slightly though.

A very nice piece, especially like the head :]

It looks awesome! Only thing that seem to bug me is that the lower part of her swimsuit is looking kind of flat. Maybe you could add some stretching to the fabric and make it tear more into her flesh. Iīm not as good with edits as you but I tried anyways hehe...

Try not to look at it at all for a week or so then open it up and voila all the little problems is usually glowing. Not as fun to work on old pieces though.

Thatīs a LOT of pixels in 3 days btw! :]

Okidoki, got a pretty big update now!

I hesitated to use a city since you used that sharprm but anything else just didnīt cut it. Added a heli too for more action. Also changed the guys colours to represent the environment a bit better, and added hair if anyone missed it! ;]

Thanks for the help again all!

Cheers,

Lelle

Thanks for comments all! I changed the face again, it actually did look like a big baby like sharprm said :] I also changed the guns slightly.
Newest version:

NICE edit Jad! I was going to add some ambient glow from the explosion later on though so donīt worry! :] I love the colours, I must play around some with it to test some. thanks for all the tips! :]

Whoa sharprm! Thatīs truly nice! You have convinced me to remove that boring explosion I made! Looks very nice! And since you both has drawn hair I guess I will have put hair on him too since it looks so awesome!

at the moment he looks like a green splodge or such

Haha, I know what you mean I'm too much into details, so it gets all clogged up in the end. I usually give people advice like "less is more" but I donīt follow them myself :]

Feron:Youīre right, Iīll fix it!

Buloght: Thanks, Iīll try! :]

How about this?

Sharprm: Now it automatically got smaller too hehe.

Cheers,

Lelle

Thanks for all the comments Turbo, I thought about it all while I continued to work on it. Got much better with your help! Though the guns have to stay, cause in the game he is supposed to run around with 2 guns and I would like to reflect that in the title screen :] I think I fixed much about the perspective on the gun though, I had forgot to add lots to the hand there regarding perspective in the first place.

Here's an early pic of the main char, havenīt worked much on it yet, he even has hair here, hehe:

Got an update now, with some background!

I made an explosion to put in the background. Can barely see it behind him though :[

Cheers and Goodnight,

Thanks for the critique :) Yeah, I always over exaggerate the upper body and arms in all my work, with smaller legs, not sure why haha. Do you think I should not do this for the future?

For this case I wanted his arms to be strong, but I didn't want to make him to overthetop, sorta trying to give him strength as in presence, angel, I'm not sure if I did it right.

Exaggeration is cool and sometimes needed to make a piece stand out :] I was thinking, instead of making the arms bigger to make make them look strong you could instead make them more defined. Like if you have seen any "World's Strongest Man" competition you can see theyīre strong much because of their size. But also if you look at a guy like Bruce Lee or a gymnast you can also see they are very powerful because of their muscle definition. If you put Michael Jackson and Bruce Lee next to eachother(lol what a sight) they would probably have about the same thickness on their arms but guess which one would look stronger. :]

I think this piece will be totally awesome in the end by the way!

Lelle

Heya!

I think it looks very nice! Though one thing I see that stands out is that his arms are a bit too large if you compare them to the rest of his body. At first it looked like the mid-body area was too short, but I think it has to do with the arms. They also reach down all the way to the knees like on a primate, sort of, so theyīre a bit too long too.

A great piece though! :]

Xanthier: Thanks! Itīs for cell phones so not much to play with when it comes to some phones :|

Sharprm: Thanks! I think I prefer the new operator since his appearance is much more powerful. Even though it doesnīt look 100% functional itīs easier to see that he is a Boss-character now. I do like the old cow milker though, he looks kinda cute :] But not too menacing hehe.

Cheers,

Lelle
