I really don't think you should be able to see the back of the cliffs like that, or even the sides. It throws of the perspective. If you look at your cave, you'll notive that huge difference.

I liked the original cliffs a lot better.

I normally don't play games, at least not when in school. I leave all my stuff at home.

I might turn on Banjo-Kazooie or Tooie and play that for a while, because I really love those games, but that mostly comes out of boredom (or during breaks from school, when I have nothing to do other than work). I just started Cave Story today, which is really awesome so far.

But as a whole, no. I don't consider myself a "gamer".

I'd probably go only if it was really close to me, like in my state. Other than that probably not.

I think it's a pretty crazy start, uniquely stylized. I't like to see it finished.

Also can I sugest trying some AA?

Given up on the crouching. Well, not given up so much as I realized how pointless it is. Crouching in the game probably wouldn't do anything, when you consider my limitations. :x

So I made it the opposite of the "up" animation. I figure the "up" can be used for pushing switches and going through doors, set on the background layer, and "down" can be used for talking to characters and reading signs, in the foreground.

could you blow them up to 200%, then? If it's not a good even hundred number it gets really distorted.

From what I see, though, they really are awesome. Love the cartoony style.

The legs and arms both seem very, very short to me. I'd also probably define the shoulders from the upper arms a bit more.

He's cute. :)

I think it'd make a big difference if you curved the suspenders a bit. They're straight lines right now, and they'd look more natural if they curved back to follow the countours of his body and shoulders. I hope that makes sense.

Thanks.

Up next is crouching.

And turning.

I really, really don't want to go below four frames. It'd be tough for the person doing the programming (not to mention more work for me).

I did, however, add in the "plant" frames instead of recycling the idle.

What do you think? I think it's an improvement, thank you!
