Âme I couldn't see the image you posted, imageshack is blocking it or something like that.

I had the same problem i think (The frog inside the icecube image). Register at imageshack and keep yourself logged in, then you will be able to see all images :)

I think it looks too smooth and is hard to tell at first sight where the light is coming from, lacking contrast so far. Search for metal shading tutorials, good look!

I can imagine him walking giving the feeling of a pendulum with his arms.
Idle animation has too much movement for breathing, i would try making him look around, scratch his head, yawn, kicking some stone or maybe just changing the approach to simply expand his chest instead of going up and down.
About the running animations, i think i would combine them, the second one looks like he is accelerating and the other seems to be more stable, running at full speed.
I really like what you have done so far, hope it helps!  :)

Edit: When you rotate the torso and head, the light should not rotate with them  :P

Maybe adding a bit more contrast in the metalic stuff?

Wow so many good critics, thanks both and specially Âme for the edits.

I wanted to make it chibi style, 3 heads tall but for some reason i always have problems with that proportion and it ended up on 4. About the right wing (our right) it was supposed to be broken  :blind:

Working on next version, thanks again!

Edit: Current version, i have not worked on all the issues mentioned just hair and anatomy.

Hey thanks a lot for the comments guys!

@big brother: all your critics are so true, i will work on them asap! ::)
But i forgot to mention that it is supposed to be floating in the outer space and that's the why behind it's feets.

Hey i really like these last sprites but chicken seems to be a bit oversized...

About the warrior's standing, is he supposed to be attacking regularly or just occasionally? cause you might think of prince of persia as reference if you fight occasionally. Other references i can think now are Diablo games, always ready to attack but different perspective than yours . Shadow of the colossus, but that depends on the amount of fighting you will have.

Hi, i have been working on this for the last 3 days, a couple of hours each day after work. Critics and comments are welcome cause i think i'm stuck now...
No references for the guy, copied from a draft on paper. I have used this as reference for the wings:

Thanks ahead for your time!

Hi, i like your work so far but i was thinking that the colors for the castle tileset seems to be too warm for such place, why don't you play with colder colors a bit?
Also, sorry but i don't like the warrior's pose, i think that kind of pose fits better to the "big-brute" ones. Why don't you try something more agile?
