Sorry, I kind of got carried away with this. The hair looks like a troll's hair.I extended the arms and gave it "legs". The lines you have were really weird, the fire/leaf has 2px thick lines in areas, not very pretty in this case. The colours I replaced your with are pretty bad but oh well it had contrast.
I think you should give it troll like hair but that's just me.

Yeah, looking now he does seem to be suffering from Zombie leg. The hands were causing me too much trouble so I did give up and mitten them. I think everything but the shoes have bad colours. I already started moving his hand, Sherman Gill is probably the 5th person to make a Michael Jackson comment.
Sherman Gill, are you talking about the back of the leg muscle? the one behind the knee?

editsI think the blue around his head was a little ... bad. You'll probably have to antialias the hair into the black.

I highly suggest you change the blue. It's very blue.
This might be a style thing, but are both of the eyes supposed to be on the same side?
