Ok edit time:
<--- Yours Mine --->

So Basically I gave the guy more definition in his legs and torso, and also even tough you said it wasn't needed, i tried adjusting his proportions just a bit. Elongated the torso and made the head smaller.

How bout this heigh chart?

I dunno about the rest of you guys, but I just found that to be really useful and saved it myself on my reference folder. Thanks Fizz.

Now onto the topic:
If you're striving for a more realistic look then yes, you should elongate the body to make him ~7 heads tall. If you don't mind your guy looking somewhat 'chibi' then you can just leave it as is.
What is looking off in your drawings for me is that the knee is too low in the leg, and both his thighs and ankles are way too thick. Also, his chest and abs, although really defined by the outline, have no depth at all. from the 6pack outline you gave him, I assume you want your guy to look fit. If that's the case you should protrude the chest forward from his torso to give it shape, and you should also make his belly go in a bit at the height of his bellybutton. This will help define his torso more. Also, from the way you drew his speedo, it looks like there is no space between his legs at all. If you feel you need an edit for reference, say the word and I'll give it a shot.

I really should stop using the word "anime", as it seems to push all the wrong buttons on a lot of people. Anyways, yes, this artwork is from the PS1 era, so I still stand by my previous crits. Anyways take them or don't, whatever. I'm just trying to help. No need to be rude.

I love these, especially the Mantis. His pose is so awesome and bendy. Two problems i see are... On the mantis his left (our left) arm looks a bit too long, and on the other one, (our) left foot looks like it's in a very strange position, given that his legs seem to be parallel to each other. I suggest that if you want to keep the guy's feet like that, that you also twist the fabric of his pants to suggest that it's his entire leg that is turned, and not just the foot. Anyways here are my quick and messy edits:

Since it's such a long standing series, it's natural that they have gone into all sorts of different art styles, so saying that you want to learn "the castlevania style" is somewhat confusing. perhaps we could pin it down to a specific generation of games? I was thinking of the PS1 era myself, which is why I said 'anime inspired' instead of anime top to bottom.

FWIW, I don't think a messy finish is necessarily a bad thing. Cartoony styles like what you're doing now can work quite well with it. Also, I love your outrageously neon color pallete. One thing that bothers me is that is seems like you are moving away from your own style with the flamingo. Its proportions aren't deformed like the frog's and the giraffe's, and it's making the style look inconsistent. Also the shade of pink you chose isn't burning my eyes enough, make it hotter. :)

Edit: One more thing: I think it would totally look cooler if the flamingo was holding his knife with its raised foot.
