Pixel Art / Re: Creeping in Shadows (optional C64 HiRes, triangles!)

Really came together, man. Looks great. Um, one last thing; Her left hand seems to be wide open when her arm is positioned in a way that it would seem uncomfortable for her to be doing that. Final nitpick. ;)

Again, it looks great, man.

I like this, I think it has a lot of potential. It seems even with the stylistic jagginess, the anatomy is kinda wonky. Here's my edit:

I think she may look a little more stout in my edit, but I think it addresses some fundamental issues. Sorry, I didn't have time to include all the cool triangles :)

Heres my take on it. I think she may look a bit older than twelve, but I think it reads better. Let me know what you think.

EDIT:

Slight update.

I've really enjoyed watching you progress. I think you've come a long way, johnnyspade.

Though, when you put it on your new background (I love the truck and the Mclean reference btw  :) ) it seems as though you're in need of a little more contrast. Like, I would lighten up the reflected light, and darken the edge of the right (his right) side of his face.

Can't wait to see the foliage.  ;D

Oh by the way, this was ripped from me. This isn't even an edit, I made this sprite. Thats pretty lame, dude. Then again, I'm not exactly proud of it.

Wow, I can't believe I let you guys slip through the cracks. I've been so incredibly busy lately that I totally lost track of the work. I'm 18 years old, live on my own and work several pixel art jobs to stay afloat so it gets hectic.

Please message me joshuaastorian@hotmail.com immediately so we can get this all sorted out.

Again, I apologize.

WIP

I don't think I'll get the perspective absolutely perfect using tiles in this angle but I think I'm close. Crits please?

Hippy zombie girl! I dunno, I think I mucked the shadow of the fat zombie up a bit, I was wanting some help on that.

By the way, this game takes place in the 70s if you were wondering about the hair and bell bottoms.

ps- I'm starting the mockup now that I have some sprites ready for it.

WIP of a zombie for the mockup. Progression from left to right. Still not done with the version on the right. I'm tempted to look up pictures of corpses to get that authentic rotting look but.. thats really gross and I don't have the stomach to go searching for the right ones. The weird colors on it are because I did my best to remember what some of the zombies looked like from the zombie movies.

Thanks everyone for the crits.
