Tried to fix the snout

Probably need to try a more subtle color palette...

Pixel Art / <WIP> Orc Portrait and Body 64x64
« on: November 04, 2010, 04:11:37 am »
Hello! This is my very first attempt at pixel art  :D

I believe it is obvious I have a long ways to go, but look forward to any CC I get.

Started with this... which i stupidly photoshop shaded into the abyss...

(64x64)

Ok! Then I went back to my rough draft image and simplified it in hopes of some form of improvement taking place!

(still 64x64, didn't use silly blur effects this time.. live and learn  ;D  )

Remade a couple times trying different shading styles... in need of improvements to say the least

*added slight improvements

*darkened and added some cheap shading..

my first take on any form of body art, take note I have no idea how to shade this... any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.  ;D
