I'm going to have to say don't like the buttons. The dither you have looks grainy and your circles look like they're made with the circle tool; you could use to touch up their curves. Some inner aa on the buttons would be nice, and it's possible even with your current palette.

The big numbers aren't bad but look like you could be using more dither patterns. Currently you go:

You should try something more like 0-25-50-25-50, but tweaked to fit the length you need.

The ship pointing right has good shading in most areas, but the front cylindrical part and the bottom fin aren't really shaded to form right. Extend the cylinder's highlights and shadows towards its center and consider taking the outlines out of the inner part of the sprite, especially the ones of the pyramids. Outlines generally waste space you could've used for conveyance of form or detail, and take away from realism. If you do decide to use them, they work best on pieces a bit larger than this where the outlines don't end up taking up so many of the available pixels.

The ships pointing left are very strange. The lightsource is opposite that of the other ship, and I'm having trouble reading any 3D objects from them. What are the little grey bits? How would the ship look from the front? Here, too, I suggest eliminating outlines to gain space for details and form, both absent in the smaller ships.

A short child in the back of the classroom raises his hand and waves it about frantically while making subtle "Ooh!" noises, signifying his excitement that he knows the answer. You recognize him; he is a pliable young lad well-known amongst the geeks and he knows almost everything. All he seems to lack is opinions and friends among the 'popular' kids. The teacher looks at him through the thick lenses of his glasses and says, in his bored monotone,

"Yes, Wikipedia?"

"You CAN see it, sir! It has a grey brown color which comes from the capillary blood vessels and the neuronal cell bodies."

"Very good, wikipedia," comes the standard reply, in the same dry voice.

Your interest wanes as the teacher begins to explain the anatomy of the brain and the fallacies made by several scientists pertaining to the brain's physical structure and the intelligence of its host. Another day in school, just like the last...

My friend has a book that goes really in-depth on that sort of stuff. All kinds of absurd detail. I dunno what the title, publisher, or date of publication might be, though. The last time I saw it was about 6 years ago.

Glad I could help. ;)

If you push on the corners of your eyes just right they slowly darken and it gives a tunnel-vision effect. Looks like I'd imagine the "light at the end of the tunnel" to be. Coincidence? I doubt it.

Smelling rain is not a strange ability. What you're actually smelling when you think you smell "rain" is the ozone produced by lightning.

A long time ago I heard clicks when I jumped and walked; any vertical movement of my head did it. It really freaked me out; I never did find out what was making that noise.

I recieved 2 of those for christmas and I have to say, it's seriously hard to make anything recognizable and with good pixel technique on a fixed 16x16 canvas using limited amounts of pixels of each color. It takes frickin' ages, too; there isn't a line tool, eraser, ctrl+z, or save as.

What's going on with the blue in the tiles? Make it clearer so the viewer can tell.

You would have a way nicer background if you used more than just 50% dither to blend. Spriteart has a good dither tutorial if you need one, or you could open MS paint in 1-bit mode and look at the palette swatches for ditherpatterns.

The dirt could use to be more brown and dirty looking than the yellow it is now, or if it's sand it could use less grass and more cunes with liffle tufts of plant life.

Is he supposed to be thrusting his crotch forward?

I don't think the arms really need work; you didn't describe specifically what you don't like about them and I don't see anything screwed up there.

I think you do need to work on straightening his back a bit and giving him a more natural pose, though. Right now, it looks very... awkward.

I'm sorry, Feron. I was really busy and planned to do it on saturday, but my sister was using the computer to fill out a college application for the entire day. I thought I might be able to finish something quick today after school but the submission period was over. I can't believe I couldn't find enough time to get it done in 2 weeks. Sorry, man.

Sorry, couldn't resist.
