Pixel Art / Re: [WIP] Frogzilla!

Although it's good that you're doing more on this piece and it is generally well-executed, I think it looks more like two 64x64 images next to each other, probably due to the vertical ends of both the advertisement and the concrete bit beneath it creating a halfway line in the piece. As a next step, I think it would be a good idea to add a section to the right of the frog for balance.

If you were to angle the box just slightly, you could add a lot to the portrait, in terms of interest and realism.

The color count(which appears excessive) and the dancing of the dithering pixels on the skin near the eyes leads me to beleive that this is not pure pixel art. Perhaps you missed what makes pixel art pixel art?

EDIT: OH! I'm so sorry! I guess I misinterpreted what Ari meant.  :o

Pixel Art / Re: WIP (-Angel-)

In general, I think angel wings sprout from the back. Also, as it is, the wings you have are shaped(the coloring doesn't hurt it XD) in a way to invoke an assumption of their being fins. As well, your lines all over could really use some cleaning up. The jeans seem to be part of the shoes, or vice versa, add a bit of difference or show some sock. The jeans are one of the better aspects of the piece, but they have very jagged edges and are far worse at the bottom than at the top.

You have good shading here and it has nice potential, but a lot of the inner lines and a few of the outer could use some selout. The transition from fur to skin looks rather abrupt and as if it casts a shadow upon the adjacent surface. I suggest breaking the border up and making it look more natural that way.

I notice that when you zoom in on the arm, there is a little vein of black down the center, but it starst and stops on each side very abruptly. The blackness between light sources works well on the legs and torso, but it gives the arm a look like it's an extruded bent square, if you get my meaning. To make it a bit clearer, the black line makes it look as if it has two facets, one reflecting each lightsource.

The pixelling here is pretty good, as is the concept, but you could use some inner aa to soften the harsh outlines the legs, eyes and mouth have.

This is pretty good but for a few areas. The head is lacking some definition and is a flat color on the sides; add some details there. The majority of the piece is top-lit and shaded accordingly, but the upper body is lit from the front and pillowshaded.

In your large image, several of those don't look like pixel art at all. Specifically, the car, several of the guns, and the building. As for the art itself, basic technique and some grounding in lighting would be a HUGE plus.
