Going in the copperhead game. This is a revision of the colours and stands at 8 at present. I'm not sure how to improve the animation at this stage so thought i might get some help from the community.

Over at Pixel there is a collaboration occurring where we are making fighter sprites to represent ourselves. I have chosen to use my avatar because... I'm shy...  :P. It was meant to be in street fighter/capcom style but i kinda messed that up by not paying enough attention to my work (plus the size is expected to be smaller). This is what i have at present so i need some C&C about how i could go about improving him.

A piece done for a signature on a different forum... don't be jealous, its not like you guys like me anyway :-*

I'm thinking the main problem is with those areas of the skull that are mainly 1 colour but not too sure how to fix that.

(got removed as i put it on pixel joint then removed it to replace it with the somewhat minor edits  :'() but pretty much looks the same as the final one except it had jaggered edges and poorer lighting
thats the closests I could get to an edit back.

here is the very first version of it I posted anywhere for reference of how far it has come however. My understanding of how to create a good palette has improved a lot since then.

I had made this piece ages ago and have not done anything to it for so long so I decided to make an update to see how far I have come. I like the skin in particular it seems to look too red for a moment then suddenly perfect after you look at it for a while. I would say that the hood is the area needing most improvement, any suggestions on how to make this piece better would be most appreciated.

I feel like his complete, and may be animating him soon but would like to know if anyone can find any particular faults. No doubt there are some I'm just having some troubles putting my finger on them.
