His shirt keeps reminding me of my favorite poison the well t-shirt for some reason. Good shape though the linea are perfect just way too much dithering as the others have said

I can really hardly tell a difference in the 4 skin colors at all, and for a larger sprite you really should go for 5 with a outline of that color, try to add more contrast.

I love anything grotesque, mutilated, or deformed. I also like kittens...

Do you have a problem with my hobby of mutilating deformed kittens? DO YOU!?!?!

I'd love to take part in this so sign me up.

I love anything grotesque, mutilated, or deformed. I also like kittens, halloween is my favorite holiday, I have an obsession with serial killers such as Charles Manson, Jack the Ripper, The Zodiac Killer, ect.

That looks a lot better, pretty perfect in  my opinion.

One nitpick i see is her mouth looks a tad odd, t just looks a little big for a female but maybe its because she has such a large smile. Good job Kcilc.

I'm not the best person to be critiquing but imho it looks spot on for the most part. Her hair looks more red in the picture but im assuming thats an effect or the lighting because the whole room seems red.

One thing i noticed though was her hair in the picture looks like it loops back right above the ear, and doesnt cover the ear at all. Maybe work on that.

Just have to say that I love the texturing on the wood, it is very well done.

To critique on the bricks, they honestly kind of look like scales but they do look nice, The thing is it seems like a natural styled inn and the bricks or scales or whatever are too symmetrical maybe try to make them more individual.

Well it is a very crude imitation of my own house, that is why the brick extends in front of the porch (mine does the same)

I agree with you on the stairs i should definately make them smaller just now realized how huge they are, and I will try my best to improve the windows (theyre one of my weak points)

Even though I liked how the roof turned out I'll definately take your adivce and try to break it up with something because it is a rather large empty space as it is.

Thanks for your critique Tourist, and thanks for viewing.

Well I took some of your advice, I like how the new windows and the chimney looks (thought about making a nice smoke effect coming out of it but didnt want to go too complex) I tried to edit the stairs but they just were not coming out good at all so i'm going to start from scratch on those at a later time. Thanks again for the critique tourist it helped em improve my pixel drawling.

Pixel Art / Starting Anew

Well I've been an off ann on pixel artist for about 6 years now. I've never been real skilled at it and have had a lot of half-assed never finished projects go to waste.
I've always enjoyed pixel art but seem to get disappointed when something doesnt work out. I'd really like to start trying my hand at pixel art again and actually be productive and becoem atleast a good pixel artist, not looking to be perfect but I'd really like to improve greatly upon  my rather shaky foundation.

Anyways since I've come here to gether advice and info on how to improve i figure the best way would to be to post a sample of my pixel art. I started this about 3 hours ago and finished it in roughly an hour. Any critique or comments would be appreciated, and any links to good tutorials or tips on pixeling would be greatly appreciated.

It's just a rather simple isometric house with a nice little porch and a shed. I really like how the roof came out on this but am unsure on the rest. C&C appreciated, thanks for viewing.
