Pixel Art / Re: New wip, animation/anatomy help? (update 1)

The one obvious thing that sticks out to me is that when he faces away/toward the screen his hands look like they're falling back naturally, rather than aggressively forward in the other poses (ie the elbows look bent).

I also don't think his feet when facing away should be shaded so much. Notice how his lower back looks indented in with the shading but you're getting the same thing out of his feet. He also looks too short there, but I didn't examine it enough to determine if it's just moved up or not.

Looks good so far.

I understand what you're going for with the head moving left and right on each frame, but it looks too exaggerated compared to the much more calm motion of the rest of his body. Other than that, I think you're on a very good path to having it "perfected". Keep it up!

I'm not an anatomy expert but I'm sure someone else out there more qualified than me can be more accurate. To me, the shins look far too short.
As far as shading, it looks good pretty much everywhere except on the right leg in the walking down pose. When the leg is pulled back it's especially bad. The main problem there is in the huge shadow created. I think you simply need more of your highlight higher up, because for not it's just not... looking so good. The left leg's shading also seems a bit off while going from highlighting the thigh to just a vertical portion of her leg.
For the walking right pose, I think the biggest gripe I have with it is the animation of her head. It simply bobs, but the look just doesn't seem to match the amount of movement the rest of her body takes.

The left legs still stick too far outward. On the right leg it seems fine but on the left leg it seems like his knee doesn't even exist. Owie!
In addition, there shouldn't be so much of the bottom of his foot showing. Relative to the rest of the animation, the walk is casual, but the feet bend up as much as they would if it was a stronger run.

Pixel Art / Military Truck, other misc sprites.

Yo. I'm looking for some cnc on some sprites I've been working on.

The perspective I'm aiming for is an angle I have trouble quantifying, but something similar... an RPG but with less emphasis on tops. I hope the truck clarifies what I mean. As far as feeling, I want a somewhat realistic feeling (yeah yeah, I know I used a black outline on the sprites of the people - but that's just so they stand out better against any tiles, whenever I get around to that)

Truck (to be animated, eventually)

This is what I'm mostly unsatisfied with. The shroud, tires, and stack(pipe) are specifically what I'm least happy with.

Two dudes

Thematically, I don't want the man in the trenchcoat to "standout". That's why it's mostly lacking in highlights.
As for the other man... he needs work.

Thanks in advance for any insight.
