Thanks for the feedback, Adarias. Yeah, I feel that that's often the biggest problem with anything I write: the dialogue rarely sounds like something someone would actually say. I'll see what I can do to improve it.

Here's a 10-minute play I wrote for theater class:

LIFE IS BUT A DREAM

I don't expect anyone to read it, but really hope that someone does so I can get some good feedback on what does and doesn't work with the script. I know it was just a little stupid homework assignment (and I was only given 2 weeks to write it), but I'm actually rather happy with the result, and hope to improve it so that I can possibly have some members of my school's theater department perform it.

I really like this, although, as you said, it's not pixel art. I feel that the chaotic nature of the piece represents the chaotic nature of the Metropolis.

the tree doesn't look so much like a tree as it does a twig sticking out of the ground. It's just about as tall as your already tiny main character. Trees are big objects, some are over 100 feet tall. This one clocks in at about 5/6 feet, judging by its size proportional to your character. Try making it bigger and better. Give it a good shape, add some width to it so it's less of a twig. Give it some texture to show it's a tree. Look outside and study some trees to get a better understanding of their size, shape, and texture.

Eh. I can't decide if it's done or not. It needs something, what that may be, I have no idea.

I think that it would be cool if you added cool graphical effects when he starts to get stoned. Kind of like the sanity meter in Eternal Darkness, but much more...psychedelic?


Also, Morse Code Revolution is my favorite game idea right now.

that's too bad, I felt that Faktablad's were great, and really had a lot of potential.

I don't really like Percival's for some reason, I can't explain it. But I just don't think they're pleasing to look at. I suppose it must be the eye shadows. It makes the :) seem like a creepy pedophile, in my opinion.
