thx for the comment, i'll try some color change to fit the background.
quick edit, don't know if its th egood way, now its feels a level at night.

yop, redoing my mockup, changed the grey stone to some aztec chimp rock. redo the rock floor, but i don't know if i must keep the flashy floor (at left) or the new chocolate floor at right.
edit :
update 2 colors, i can't decide
maybe purple looks better and so the rocks need to be flashy since the back ground is totally black. comments on ?

update of my monkeyman boss. replaced one color, maiking him now in some armor. added an banana on helmet.
i need to redo all my mockup, it doesn't fit on megaman style, need to be more blocky and bigger tiles.

@ Vierbit : Thx a lot for the tips, i thought the tiles can have transparency :s, i ll go changing that so. The rock is still wip arghhh i need to finish it. Changing the monkeyman too, its true it needs some cybernetics thingys.

thx a lot xelados, i didn't figure how to unflat the worm :s.
i just looked a small time of your edit to not redo what you did.
added soldiers running away, two updates, with slime thingy on mouth and without. c&c are still welcome to improve this.

Hi all, time to jump to the reality, after reading quite a time the board, its time to register and stop dreaming of doing pixel art and starting to try some...
source : Palette color from Arne with happymonster's purple color, changed and added some pink tones.
1st draw :
without lighting :
With some highlights :
I think the sprite is laking of some light projection on the back and posture isn't really interresting maybe 
.
C&C are really appriciated

Changed the jaws and the width of the worm, added green thingy, changed a bit the arm and back color. Now he looks like a bit retard, better for me
