Pixel Art / Re: Character portrait

Ah, it's been awhile and I'm a bit slow on stuff so here.

@rydath: I fixed the dent but the hair actually looks like that but I guess there's room for improvement.
@Ryan Cordel: His head is slightly tilted but yeah I understand what you mean and I wasn't sure to go about the nose, it's not a strength of mine :(
@Kazuya: I'm not sure what you're saying but I highlighted the forehead and removed the cheek's white shine.

I think he looks a bit weirder...

Mine is to stop being so damn lazy....life's pretty damn easy if I ever did try, but I never really do though, and I don't know why.
Yeah, same here, I never get around to doing the things I want  :(

Also, I like the simple-style on yours Larwick  :)

I've tried to highlight the arms and legs and I dulled the color of the sprout from its head.

Any improvement?

My friend made the creature concept and I pixeled it, it's not ace so that's why I'm looking for C+C please.

Thanks.

Graal Online. When I joined all the user-made things sucked, and by the time I was good enough to confidently submit new graphics there was tons of good stuff.
Weird, same deal with me except a friend introduced me to pixel art, I didn't even know it was an actual type. Then, I entered a new world, well, just the same, but expanded.

Pixel Art / Pixel Learning Process

Hi! I'm Victor!

Anh.. I guess you can say I'm new, but I've been stalking around here for about 2 months, heh. I can't really do great work myself, I haven't done actual pixel art rather just small items for games, like, the kind that's uploaded and used right away. So, if it isn't too much could you tell me how you learned? I mean, everyone starts from an egg, right? Er, well, pixel, anyways!

I know the fundamentals i.e. AA, dithering, and lighting and such, I hope I can eventually become well enough experienced so people look at my work and study from them, I study from the lot of you.

Oh, um, I'll present some work just for C&C I guess, but, they're all heads since the game is broken up into 4 parts: the head, the body, the sword, and shield.

I'm particularly proud of the first one, the second one started out VERY rough, I wasn't really ruled by the pixel art laws, and the third one is my oldest but it's my first piece that had that look to it so because of that I'm particularly proud.
