I know your only 13 and still developing as an artist but im just saying... the art on your web page is fairly uh sub-par... and if you are looking for employment, try to limit the amount of spelling errors in your portfolio.

Best of luck in the future ;)

The iso looks really good but that black outline around it kind of kills the smoothness of it. Also that random chair and table in the front yard are huge! :P Very excellent for a first time :P its better than anything i can do haha im just here to learn aswell.

Thank you so much Terley! Your post has helped me alot and i'll be sure to check out the links provided, and yes, i could have just taken a more in depth look around to find my answers, sorry about that :P. Also couldnt help noticing both the links you posted are to the same place! :P but they did help me learn more about my colour schemes and i enjoyed that cliff that was drawn.
And yeah, it was actually through pixeljoint that i came across this wonderful site :)

General Discussion / How do you do it??

Well, i was just wondering two things. One of them being how do you come up with such amazing ideas for your art? no matter how hard i try, i cant seem to think of some subject matter that i would really want to get into and create.
My second question is how do you do about choosing your palettes weither it is realistic colours or not.. i know i probably sound really uncreative by posting these questions but i need to know! :P

Hey... i have been looking at all the art on this forum for quite some time now and finally decided to create an account :P

My name is Heidi Mayer, i recide in Wasaga Beach Ontario Canada ;). For around four years ive been in to pixel art and have been trying to learn the basics. From grade 9-12 (im in grade 12 now, 17 years old) ive been producing some pretty crappy pixel art :P
I hope this forum can help me learn how to improve my skill level :P :y:
