Me no not much pixel art but me no u do gud job for one try first gud job

The wood floor is kind of bland, and i don't see a light source from it either (i guess i should be able to tell which way the light is coming from because of the door window, but my middle name is stupid )

Or ignore me and my totally random idea to have a more obvious light source

Hmm, i am uh, the dithered sword gives an unwanted texture. Anyways I am not using it for a game of sort, and i have taken everyon'es thoughts into consideration! Thank you all! i sadly do not have time to finish this piece.

should i take the outlines in between away?

i don't think i should totally ditch dithering, without it looks too smooth, and this is a rough simple old blade, made in the olden days.

A different background? I've done it commonly, but this if for presenting so i used white, and i plan not to change it.

I added some contrast as well.

The top sail hole looks irregular since it should be light blue like the sky, since the horizon is lower then the top sail hole.

basara is right, since dithering should be used to create some sort of texture and almost always when you are changing shades. You also need a bit more contrast. Basara's edit doesn't use enough dithering when changing shades though. Use more solid colours, but also use some dithering. Also with the horns. Your horns used too much dithering, and basara's edit has only solid color. Use a medium amount of dithering.
