Cool stuff NowvaB. Thanks to you I'll be spending my Christmas fighting Otyughs in a moody dungeon, as any proper warrior would have it!

The Likes/Dislikes have more than once caused me to tackle subject manners outside of my comfort zone. I'm proud to say I would have never done something like the gift I sent had it not been for analyzing the likes of the person receiving my gift.

Going into indexed mode can screw up your palette ramp organization (and as a result, prevents you from using the "Make Gradiation" feature to create even ramps quickly.)

Indexed mode is for post production changes, or for if you have a palette prepared before production and want to adhere to it.

A few more points of my own: the way I see it, females are generally quite an "issue" in games, even today. They either do not appear at all (which is just as problematic in my opinion) or are often over sexualized. Games like TERA and the like just do what they think is best for the game: create something appealing for the mostly male audience. We can see that didn't work, though, as they just recently shifted to free to play. Or, to put it differently, they failed horribly with their subscription concept. Which is probably because the game itself is bad, and only the characters are appealing. So, obviously, that doesn't "save" a game. And yet it is done fairly often, when it just isn't required. No women at all in games (take Call of Duty and the like as an example) also tends to be very boring. I mean, why the heck not, anyway?
Hyper-sexualized female characters has been the norm for awhile now in Korean MMOs, so it's more likely that they were following an expectation set by earlier games like Linage II than actually having put much thought to how it would benefit them.

You know you can click the present to see what's inside, right? (:

It's a box inside a box~
Yep. It'll make an amazing conversation piece both for the humor behind it and the endless speculation of its contents.

Interesting present I got, I can't help but wonder what's inside. I really like the pattern on the box and the construction ribbon.

As for mine: I used a ton of colors that I probably didn't need to (and I didn't really use them interestingly), and I had to erase a good chunk to work in a different pose (which ended up for the best since the old pose was awkward and less action). I know next to nothing about the subject I drew so I hope it turned out alright.

At the worst I could probably throw in an hour of work and submit mine and it would be considered finished, but I intend to work on it on and off until I am angry with how awful it turned out.

In my observation people tend to be more entertained by showings of how accurately mainstream commercial works can be imitated and how well they can be presented rather than what kind of original work you can create (in Minecraft's case I am assuming with knowledge of how buildings and stone works are made). Combine that with a massively popular construction game with a pseudo-retro (that isn't truly vintage) look and it becomes a recipe for easy success.

At least that's why I think that is. There's no actual scientific research on matters such as this.

You guys should just let people that didn't make the sign up be able to make and deliver gifts, but they can't can't be assigned someone to give a gift to, and those gifts can be given to those that didn't receive a gift at the end or randomly given.
