I'm building a 2D platformer in C# for Android. I have most of the programming done, physics, collisions system, etc. But what I still lack is awesome animated sprites.

I'm looking for something original yet iconic, similar to Mario for a 2D game. Something like this, it's got that nostalgic feel: http://orkimides.deviantart.com/art/Mario-Runing-67782112

But it would need to be partly original as to avoid copyright issues with Nintendo, and has to have those white gloves. If you think you can design an animated sprite with that quality/style, then your the one.

Payment: Paypal, I have no idea for what's a good offer for pixel artists. After character, enemies, completed, we can decide on a price. Or simply reply to me, with a reasonable price for your expected work. Not $/hr, just a single payment for the work.
Size: 128x128 animated:
- player (run, idle, jump in air on one leg with arm in air, land on enemy with legs crouched)
- enemy (walk, squashed by player jump on head)
