man, sir, your excellence, that's the most amazing thing I've seen for decades. 
I'm also a huge fan of the two first Wing Commander games, but even without that, I would keep throwing money at my screen until this game happens !!!!
Here's a suggestion :
1/ make a quickstarter
2/ grab the billion
3/ finish the game
