Job offers / [Paid] Looking for an artist, preferably pixel art
« on: January 27, 2017, 06:58:12 am »
My friend and I are producing an animated pilot for a comedy web series set in space. We want the artwork to be pixel art. It's a hobby / side project that we were hoping to find an artist to join us on and get involved with, but we've had zero luck. So, now we're looking to contract an artist instead.

Here is the art list for the video: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1IACa7l0xilAd6Sbp5DSVNIrFNOy2tGFsXlq1mGzXKPw/edit?usp=sharing

Please contact me with your sample work and your price. Also, please don't bother if you're just looking for a quick gig; even though it's a paid job we still want to find someone who's actually interested in the project.

Unpaid Work / Artist Needed for Web Series Pilot (rev-share)
« on: January 23, 2017, 10:06:32 am »
I'm producing an animated comedy web series about 2 astronauts on their way to Mars. I thought it'd be cool to do the show in pixel art (kind of like that old show Code Monkeys). I'm working with an experienced writer and we have 10 episodes outlined with the pilot script written.

I'm looking for a pixel artist to join our small team. It's unpaid but we're splitting future revenue 30-30-30, with 10% going toward a production fund. You'll also share IP ownership.

The show is pretty simple with most scenes being relatively static. Animation frames will be needed for various assets (e.g. characters), but the actual animation/editing process will be done by me.

If the pilot doesn't take off then we won't continue with production, so the worst case scenario is we all have something of quality to add to our portfolios.

Reach out if you're interested and please include your best sample work. Thanks!

Job offers / Hiring a pixel artist to create a few assets [Paid]
« on: August 28, 2016, 06:50:50 am »
I'm hiring a pixel artist to create this short list of assets: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vxHLhnXLTeNva6ryFO53Dk5Ihf91OjL-jCAxlVx0GJw/edit?usp=sharing

I'm looking for a simple art style, somewhat like that show Code Monkeys (links in the doc above), or what people might call 8-bit. Resolution for these assets doesn't matter.

This is absolutely a paid job. I know the rules state that I include the rate, but I'm not as familiar with freelancing pixel artists so I prefer to field offers from artists. That said, I'm more than willing to verify my credibility if need be. I can pay via PayPal or Venmo. Please provide a quote for the work, whether hourly or flat rate. If hourly, please estimate how long it will take to complete the job.

Let me know if you have any questions or need more details. Thanks!
