I think it makes them more confusing. I can't even tell what's going on.

They clearly are rotating objects, couldn't they just make square emotes and rotate them?

I just saw the screenshots and came here to see what's up.
Not only are they a blatant ripoff, but a poor one at that.
They're just... wobbly. :(
You don't even need emoticons in a game like that.

Pixel Art / Re: WIP Need opinions on sprites and tiles, I am a beginner

Why the strange sizes? Normally, tiles are done in multiples of 8 (, 16, 32, 64, etc). Just curious.

I feel the smaller characters could use some more contrast in their shading.
Not sure exactly what's going on with the tiles, though.

I also suggest using a backdrop of a less saturated colour.

What's the point of taking a screen capture when it would be much easier to click the save button...?

I was pretty much just skimming the thread when I came across this little gem:
I really gotta learn how to draw?

... ???
You can't seriously think you can get away with making pixel art without being able to draw, can you?

I don't quite get why people place certain pixels where they place them.
Well, maybe you should figure that out first.  :)

The smaller a sprite is, the more important each pixel is.
On such a small thing, black outlines take up a lot of space that could be better utilised.
(Unfortunately, I'm just reiterating what I've read on here several times, but don't know how to actually do it. Have a look around is all I can suggest right now.)

Personally, I find the biggest problem with the window to be the fact there is no window sill!
