Hey, use to post on the old pixelation as Murdoc - changed it to Mickey this time around (there's a story to it but uninteresting so i'll leave it)
Currently living around Montreal, Canada and slowly getting back into the pixelling groove.

Wow, I remember the first one I still have my half completed entry for it on my other computer hah. Great stuff so far too. I'd love to make an entry but I don't really have any idea's for a character so I guess to the sketching board it is.

Ro83rt- you have a nice improvement but the folds in the clothes could still use some work the darkest tone you have outlining the folds makes them look to rigid. Look at some of the sprites Camus posted or other snk, capcom stuff. Keep up the good work. (sent pm)

Pixel Art / Re: GBA Sidescoller background

Your off to a good start with the scene, it's definatly in the right direction.
Im not exactly sure what a crack in space time continuum should look like but I think if you were to get rid of the large cluster of purple and dark blue around the lightning it would look better, the effect it's giving off - to me at least, is that it's sort of popping out sort of like you do with letters to make them look more 3dish, if that makes sense.
As well it's already been mentioned but some variety in the stars. Just taking some of the darker purple and putting random pixels in the background to make it look like distant stars - to give it more depth.
Here's an image I found on the internet thought it might be useful for some idea's with the stars.
