The forearm carrying the blade is a bit thick near the wrist.
Also, the crotch is too high and too dark.

Those are the most prominent flaws that I can see.

[WIP 2]

Not much of an update, and I probably won't finish in time.  :yell:

some classic amateur anatomy errors here!  Arms too long + legs too short.  By a lot.  This is a very very natural tendency when you are just starting out, and mastering it (or at least getting a hang of it) will instantly elevate your art.  Good luck!

I think I got the outstretched arm right, but yeah you're right otherwise.
I should be able to lengthen the legs at the knees, thighs, and possibly shins a bit. It might also be possible to move the spear up and shorten both sections of the arm holding it.

Thanks for pointing this out before I got any further.  :'(

My edit + a noggin-proportional dude, just for fun.  :D

Changed it more into a mullet, it looked a bit strange hanging towards the front of the back of his head, if you get what I mean.

WIP 4

Added a bit more details and messed around with the legs. They look okay now?

 ???

PS: Hey MrMister, I recognize you from Charas. :D

WIP 3

Must:
- Finish line art
- Get silver-ish palette
- Replace black lines and white with silver-ish palette
- Add finishing touches
- See if I can animate it

Edit: I just noticed that his right armlet needs to be longer up the arm a bit (in consideration with the arm being bent), I'll get on that in a bit.

Since you're using basically one color throughout the entire shoe, make sure you add some highlights along with that shading you plan on doing.

Actually, I suggest not using the second one. I just realized that it makes the whole thing look a bit cylindrical.

Blending colors is good (dithering, etc.).

Here's my try:

I'm pretty sure it's just me, but where the snake tail attaches to the torso it looks a bit off.

The snake tail looks like it should be twisting the entire torso a bit more judging by the belly part of the tail. It also seems like the tail is connecting to the human torso at an angle and the body is pivoting 90 degrees straight up from it, creating an awkward joint or something.

Nothing really worth making a big deal out of, but it's just the way I saw it.

Edit: Tried to show what I mean..
