Don't try adding too many strands.  If you do, the hair will look like a pixelated mass.  Try pixeling the hair in clumps, and just use lines to show where the clumps meet.

The ears are freakishly large in the pixeled versions.

I was doing a lot of pixeling today, so I got courageous and decided to do a monster sprite of sorts.  I'm not sure what's going on with the eyeball, but work with me here. :P

Later, I saturated the colors some more to produce a more 'slimy' feel for it:

C&C?

Some AA on the pants would help a lot in the more colorful version.  (And in the low color version but you can't AA much without adding colors, you know what I mean :P )

The shading on his left cheek make him look odd.  It doesn't match the right cheek.  If you cut back on the darkest shade on the left, and make the cheek look more round, it would look better.

I haven't worked with sci-fi stuff very much, but try picking two or three shades for the door, and alternating between them diagonally or something like that.

What they don't know won't hurt them. ;)

If the lines bother you that much (They would for me), draw in MSPaint, then c&p into Photoshop. :P

It looks fit together very well.  I'm especailly impressed with the sheets on the bed - I always have problems with textures on soft surfaces.

It looks pretty neat.  Though the moving shadows on his face in the animation don't fit very well, since the rest of the head isn't moving the way the shadows indicate.

Hey.  I just wanna say hello to the community.

G_Dragon, an online friend and online co-worker of mine, finally harassed me enough to visit this place.  And well, it kicks ass.

I just started pixeling a little over a year ago, so I don't consider myself a professional, but you can decide for yourself. ;)

I plan on posting some of my work in the Pixel Art forum, so be sure to check it out. ;D
