Pixel Art / [Feedback] [CC] [WIP] Latest character piece, looking for general advice

Hi

I'm working on this new piece (still very much WIP), which I also posted over Pixel Joint, but I think perhaps I can get some more strict C&C here. Don't need to hold back at all - please feel free to rip into any issues. For this pic I am focusing on improving my clusters, but I'd very much appreciate advice on anything from general composition to anatomy or the rendering of cloth etc.

Hello!!

I've decided to try to get into pixel art again. I never stuck at it long enough to get very good by here is my attempt after an hour or so:

It came out better than I though it would, I am esp. happy with the shell.
It's roughly based on this:

I've obviously simplified it because the original photo has two light sources but I didn't want to make things too complicated for myself.

Anyway, brutal C+C please! I don't get offended so give me hell!  ;D

General Discussion / Brutal, not-for-pansies C+C for 3D art

Hi people,

This site is really good for brutally honest C+C. But what about art work other than pixels?

I read this site (and pixeljoint) every day, but I've been slacking of on posting any pixel art because I've been busy making a game which I'm going to release for free. I'm making the whole game myself, (except the music & sound) and I don't want it to be filled with crappy "programmer art" - which means I need critique on the 3D models/textures I'm making.

Does anyone know where the best 3D C+C forum is? I was looking for a place where the members give really good C+C like the members of this forum do.
