Pixel Art / Help projecting power to this animation

Hey everyone! I'm not so new here as I like to creep around here but I almost never post unless I really have too. I've been having trouble with this animation as I want to project power into it. I think I got the speed representation of it but I can't seem to grasp how to add power to it. I thought only effects could really help with that, but I'm still having trouble with it. I was wondering if someone could help me add power to his jump that would be incredibly helpful! Also if someone has a site that helps a ton with animation, or has a lot of animations to study from I would love a link  :).

General Discussion / Beginner artist and pixel artist in need of assistance

Hi! I've been drawing pixel art (and dabbling with art in general) for 2 months now. Found out that art is a deep passion of mine and so I've been practicing pixel art at least 3 hours a day through a really good course with a really great and responsive teacher. It's really funny to say, but I want to get really good. Is there anything you can recommend me on doing (even besides pixel art) that will improve my art skills by a whole lot? Although I am seeing huge progress with my art and with the help of this teacher, I feel like I'm missing something that'll boost my art skills. Any help is superbly appreciated!

General Discussion / A question to the pixel art veterans!

Hello everyone! I'm super new to this forum(have been creeping around as a guest but decided that I should create an account because this forum is pretty good for pixel art) and I wanted to ask a question meant for people who worked as pixel artists and made money off of it. I know you can make a decent income in just about anything, but how hard is it making basic income creating pixel art? Do you have to be at the top of the food chain in order to succeed, or if you're pretty good you can get jobs here and there?
