Pixel Art / Old type Game chars+small mockup

These are "low res" chars I think thats what there called... well anyways I want to use the least amount of colors possible but I still want
it to be readable. any C+C is appreciated. Please if you know how to reduce the colros post a comment telling me how, or make a example.

So I though I would do that since his always turn out exellent after words  :crazy: and here it is


Which one do you guys like the most and how can I improve it?

he is susposed to be a evil slipper wearing kid but beofre I move on I wanna know if it looks right to you guys? the body seems to not match the legs any help would be nice  :crazy:

Hi  ;D,I was hoping someone could give me some help on this picture, Its susposed to be a water line of a major city But im not happy with how to water turned out, The syle is I checkerd the whole picture with variouse colors I guess Its called"dithering" but im new so im not sure So if anyone has any tips please help me  :hehe: thanks  ;D

your probly thinking "ok.. what the hell is a zlerk" well its a creature I made up, There these Squishy ball shaped things. As babys they have wings that can move them a few feet at a time, There squishy intil they become older then they start to harden eventually there wings fall off when they get too big to fly, then they grow in size a bit, Then after some time they get the Lump on there head that turns into a huge metal spike this is when they get there first job as a guard of the colony, Then they grow fangs. Thats all i have so far
so here it is
I know they are not the greatest or even good at all  :( but go easy on me  :P
