So I'm back with another bg for the game I'm working on.



It's very rough at the moment! Still trying to figure out the the perspective on the right side. Any advice on how I should tile this would be helpful. I know it's been a hot topic on these forums recently.

I can't stop doing this NES stuff. I might actually make this into a game.


The game will play like Nam 1975 and Wild Guns, but with the ability to build and upgrade turrets and other machinery.

Edit: I've noticed there is a bit of an optical illusion when the hind legs come forward; the right leg looks as though it morphs into the left.

It's a background for a game I'm making that takes place in an over-industrialized world. The sprite that you see is only placeholder - the actual sprite will be much larger. Before I start cleaning / rendering, do you guys see any major problems?

Pixel Art / Wild Guns Mock Up

I started to make a mock up for a Wild Guns (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_Guns) type of game. I began pixelling on my laptop, and finished on another screen, so the colors may be off. My laptop's colors are extremely desaturated, and the other LCD seems to be oversaturated. How does it look to you? Is the green in the ground noticeable? Tips on anatomy would be helpful too.
