Hi, I'm Gordon. I've been making my living freelancing for indie games for the last 5 years, and my experience in indie dev goes back over a decade. I also studied traditional animation in Toronto for 3 years. I'm a uniquely qualified game artist, capable of creating high quality pixelart animations in any style, with fluid, realistic animations. I can design characters, environments and art styles to the specifications of any client, and I work very efficiently. I pride myself on versatility; I always aim to deliver 100% satisfaction to anyone I work with, and I can deliver artwork that's realistic, cartoony, retro, or anywhere in-between. If you need my services just reply here. I charge $40/hr USD and am available for work now. Let's get started!

Here's a bunch of stuff from a project I worked on for a couple months, I designed the art style and some of the characters. Ultimately the director decided he wanted to go in a different direction with the art.

General Discussion / [urgent] graphicsgale .gal file issue
« on: July 25, 2017, 07:26:53 pm »
Hey, I'm currently doing some work on commission and my computer crashed. it seems to have corrupted the .gal file i was working on, as I can no longer open it in graphicsgale. This file has about 10 hours of work on it so I'd really really like to recover it. Have any of you encountered this problem before? I'll upload the file if any of you want to poke around with it.

Hey, I've just finished studying animation in Toronto, and I'm looking for some work to help pay rent and student loans. I'm available for both full time and part time work. My general rate right now is $100 for a 7 hour day of work. If that fee seems inappropriate to the level of work I would be doing, we will discuss a fee that we can both feel good about.

You can see my hand drawn animation demoreel here

Here are some further examples of my animation and pixelart work:

As well as some of my illustration/layout work:

If you would like to see more examples of my work, my portfolio can be seen here.

bleh, i feel like i should know how to fix this but i've looked at it so much aaghhhhhhh
so i started with this

but i wanted it to have more weight to it, kind of like the fights in the big-o, so i ended up with this

but that doesnt have anywhere near as much power as the first one. basically, i want it to have a lot of weight, but still look powerful.
