been working on this on and off for a while, got some good crits from the crowd at pixeljoint and at #pixelation, here's where i am on it at the moment.

yggdrasil is a giant tree from norse mythology that is basically the 'tree of life.' this is but one interpretation of how it could look.

i'd really like input on the colors and mood. i want the top half to create a "happy, love, life" feel, whereas when you go down, you are pulled into a darker, more "dreary, desolate" feel.

crits on pixeling and design are good, too. it's really fun playing with the idea of something and interpreting it as your own; yet i would like others' personal interpretation of the design and idea, as well. this piece is quite the endeavor, and in-between soccer and school it will be a good relaxation device, i'd say! haha.

Hey Pixelation. I've been working on this on and off between soccer practice, getting the flu, and working on english papers. 

I'm still quite in the WIP stages, so I'd like you guys' advice on this. I was inspired by ptoing and iLKke on this one, mostly.

My school's been inspired by the pixel-art show Cure held that I talked about, and is thinking about holding their own, so I've started working on something fairly large, and in only red blue and green. It is essentially the hand of God, who will be, (as soon as I pixel it,) be holding the world.



It's tough, and I'd like you guys' insights on what to do, what to change, and how to improve the piece. I hope it won't involve a total pose change though

I'm having trouble getting some areas to look right, like the bow and the upper right corner, but for the most part I think I'm doing a fairly good job. C+C is appreciated!

I'm satisfied with the feet on this one, but the eyebrows don't seem to bounce along with the body...any suggestions?
