I participated in a game jam recently as the artist with a team of 3 and some extra help. We created a game where you play as an alien piloting a flying saucer to abduct cows and feed to the mother alien while fending off tanks.

I like most of his recreation but it seems like the scaly appearance on his neck isn't implemented correctly. What's wrong?

It took me a few hours to draw just trying to figure out everything but he turned out pretty good!

Pixel Art / Corrupted Monk Boss Room from "Sekiro"

I really want to finish this, but my roadblock is... dundundun... japanese architecture. Can anyone help me with that? Maybe starting with the tiled roof in the background? It doesn't need to be 100% accurate to the Sekiro game but it has to look japanese. I did finish the Corrupted Monk sprite on Pixel Joint however, I was pretty satisfied with the result.
