Hello, so after a long break from pixelarting i'm making a new Tileset that is going to be 32x32 (as oppossed to the previous 16x16) for the sake of giving less repetitiveness to the tiles



So, how's that? I feel I have improved a lot since I first came to this forums, right now it looks repetitive but i'm planning to make 2 or 3 more different tiles (with the 16x16 config I would have had to make 5 or 6)

Pixel Art / How in the world do I draw a simple pair of hills? (Feedback)

It's me again with probably the worst piece I've posted in this forum

I have no clue on how to draw backgrounds, and that's a big problem since i'm the only artist working in my project (that means I must make them)

I decided to make the backgrounds simple cell shaded (no more than 3 colors per layer) to hide a little the fact that I suck at these (and not overwork myself), however I still can't find a way to do that without them looking awful



This is how the hills look against the rest of the artwork (I have a separate topic for the background as a whole, so this one is just the hills)

Also, if someone has a tutorial or techniques or knowledge that can be useful when spriting backgrounds, it will be MORE than aprecciated

So this is how the background and Level looks...

Does it look... "Empty", how can I make a good one? I always sucked at background and I donīt know anyone who can get them right (at least not for free XD)

Anyway, aside from feedback, is there a way I can improve backgrounds? like a series of techniques or tricks that can turn the background of my game to a at least descent level?

Pixel Art / That Tank Monster Again (Critique, Feedback)

Is the monster of before, i'm resuming my run n gun game (which I put on hold during because of college) and made an animation on how the "sprout" on his back

During upload I noticed like 98413023419082314 pixels off and quirks that I'm planning to repair later, at the moment is the movement and aesthetic of the animation what i want feedback on (point out the errors if you want anyway in case I missed something)

In like one month I want to post a gameplay of stage one for further feedback (I hope ._.) Hope you like it :)

Need feedback with the following characters:



*The first one is the same as in the link above but with hair
*The second one is like the "female version", i'm not very familiar with female figure so I need feedback on this one before continuing
*The third... well, I know it sucks... but I donīt know why... like maybe the proportions are wrong or simply the arms are poorly drawn... this is the one I need the most help with

Once again, if you donīt have a lot to say then a simple "It's ok", "I donīt quite like it" or something like that is going to be very helpful :) THANKS
