Pixel Art / Ulfric
« on: January 22, 2015, 04:08:12 am »
So I thought since I've been playing to much Skyrim and Daggerfall that I came to a conclusion of what Skyrim would look like if it was like Daggerfall.  So heres the first person I thought I would work on, the leader of the stormcloaking rebellion, your new high king...Ulfric!  In progress...

Also please no discussion on which is better stormcloak or imperial theres places to talk about that elsewhere.

Ok I thought I would make it bigger for more detail.  Yes I know pose is kinda...leaning awkwardly a bit.  I'll fix it just let me know what else could be fixed (which at this point maybe the whole thing  :( )

General Discussion / Wii U or 3DS?
« on: May 08, 2014, 11:56:29 am »
So me and my friends are making a game for Steam but recently I contacted Nintendo and was able to get some information on where I would be able for us to buy a license and be able to develop and distribute our games on Nintendo systems.  My friends think its a good idea though were not quite so sure rather or not to once its on Steam to port it to Wii U or 3DS.  I like the use of the Wii U's gamepad but its currently of course not as popular while the 3DS is but I'm afraid of certain size restrictions (which I shouldn't I mean look at RE: Revelations)  ???.  Anyways what system do you think is better to port a rpg/jrpg styled game to?   ;D

Pixel Art Feature Chest / GR#168 - Realistic Charmander
« on: January 30, 2014, 05:07:05 pm »
So I been working on a realistic charmander in the past recently.  I'm happy with the colors so far (so not really wanting to focus on improving colors at the moment), but I'm a bit puzzled how to place its legs, animate fire on its tail, and draw scales  ???.  I tried drawing scales by doing dithering and that didn't work to well.  The image reference I was using can be found below the wip image.
