Pixel Art / Little Monsters
« on: April 03, 2010, 07:51:30 am »
The title is plural because I want to make more, but don't need a bunch of topics.

Here's a little blue guy. On the right is the original, and on the left I tried to add colours. The plain blue one is very boring, but the colourful one is messy... I'm not very skilled at this and don't really know how to go about making him interesting. Any tips and edits would be appreciated.
He has short fur.

As an added note... I'm pretty sure I've matured since I first joined. So if you want to look at my past topics, please don't go any further than the one with the ant. I'll get back to that guy some time.

Pixel Art / Some stuff by me

Admittedly, I waited until my last thing went off the front page just so I could post more.
But then I never actually finished anything I wanted to post.

Uh, anyways.
So I saw a couple isometric collaborations, and I thought they were so cute. :D But there hasn't been one in like a year, what's up with that? Anyways, as much as I would love to be in one, I don't think I'm exactly up to par, so I'm doing my own. :D
Currently I only have this tree, though. ^^;;;

I can't seem to get from green to purple without using a gross blue. @__@ And as you can see here, I failed. It took me a while to get the leaf thing going on, and I think it looks not too bad. :D
So I'd like to hear what you think and such. I'd especially like to know how to do the purple thing...
I included the one on the right in case you wanted to see the lineart, or something like that. ^^;; lolll

(Took "iso" out of the title, because I have stuff I want crit and stuff on, but don't really want to make more topics for little things.)

Pixel Art / Rukia
« on: November 08, 2007, 10:22:22 am »
This is something I had drawn a while ago. :D
I drew it on paper first, because I wasn't planning on making it a pixelart, but I was bored, I guess. ^^;;

I know the shirt is... ugh. D: But I'm still trying to figure out how to shade clothes and such.
I know it's not really what the lot of you are used to seeing, and probably would rather not... ^^;;;;... but I can't really do the things you people do.
So, uhhh... anyways. xD;;
Crits are welcomed~

Pixel Art / Rock practice
« on: July 30, 2007, 06:35:14 am »
That's something I need a lot of.
Well, I need a lot of practice, period, but that's beside the point.
So, I just doodled up this rock quickly, then went over it and re-shaded it.
I just used boring greys. This isn't so much needing to learn about colours, I mostly just need to learn the shapes of rocks so that I'll know where to place the shades.

So I have here the original, one with solid lines, and one with shaded (highlighted, rather) lines.
