for some reason i can't sleep, scary...maybe i'm dying or something. anyway, since i can't seem to fall asleep, i thought i'd try to do some small sprites. well... their not really sprites, their more like figurative drawings i guess.

pretty bored right now, so i was thinking of making a new bg for my psp. i was kinda goin for a first person shooter look. then i got bored of doin that and felt like making a metal slug lookin mockup for some reason... i might try to finish the metal slug thing just because i'm not very good at small stuff. i could use some help on that... heh

thinking of have a bank robbery going on. still not to sure on how to start tho.

sorry i haven't had much art lately. my computer had a virus and my hard drive had to be formatted... so thanks to that damn virus, over 20 hrs of work was deleted. i was going to submit all the the finished pieces all at once. i was so close to finishing the last one too... haven't really been in the mood to draw that much. i really hope nothing like this ever happens to any of u guys. anyways, heres something i did today.

heres a quick sprite i did for a tutorial at deviantart, pretty stupid tutorial but some people wanted me to make one, heh. nothing too great about the character.


and heres another quick sprite of psycho mantis, not that great either because most of him is mirrored...

didn't feel like starting another post just for a WiP. heres a quick line art of Psycho Mantis. i might do a couple others today but i might be a lil busy sleeping or playing all the new games i just downlo... i mean bought, heh. i thought it might be a cool idea to have all the villain type character all next to each other, with a big line of soldiers behind em and the huge metal gear behind the soldiers. this way i can still do a huge sprite and and also do small ones.


some people want me to try small sprites so heres what i got...it still probably not small enough for some of you but i need to take baby steps on this. doctor says if i go from large sprite to small too quickly i could have a heart attack. i got this idea from MadToaster here http://www.wayofthepixel.net/pixelation/index.php?topic=246.0 i was thinking about doing some of the other character from mgs to help me practice at small sprites, what do you guys think?
