Thank you guys for all the replies and the many PMs I got, I wasn't expected that many answers !

Nice to see that the forum is so active :)

I've picked up one of you and started to work with him on that projects.
Once we've moved forward enough, I'd get back to some of you if we need more hands !

Cheers

Hi pixels art artists !

I've started to work on a game that I based of the old BrowserQuest open source game.

That's my first game and that's also the first time I'm playing with pixel art.

I'm a developer and I will not do the pixel art myself, I've started to look for artists but I realised that I'm not really sure of my needs... Of course I have an idea of what I want, but it's very hard to either see if it's actionable at a pixel art level, how long that would take or even explain it to someone for a paid job and get a try.

So here I am with my idea, a few animations and sprites I made to try things and paragraphs of text to explain what I want to do, but it's not actionable.

I'd like to try a better approach and I'm looking for the consulting of a pixel art artist that is very comfortable in doing work and animations like the one attached on this post.

You fit the job if :
- You would be able to redo all the BrowserQuest pixel art without difficulty
- You can show me similar work you've done over the last 5 years
- You are used to create art for other people game and very familiar with the whole process
- You'll have the patience to go throw a consulting process, you will not have to produce any final art (maybe just a bit to explain things), just to take the time to read my needs and redefine them with me until we both agree that it's the right way of doing it

At the end of that work, I expect to know what I want and be able to hire a pixel art artist to work on the project with clear instructions.

I will pay you $35 per hour you'll spend on that task.

Thank you !
