Pixel Art / Re: Some new attempts

I would say, try to recreate the same object/subject on different canvas sizes to see what you're comfortable with. That way you can see what is too big or small for your personal style. Hope this helps!

Hi! great work, but I have a few recommendations:

If you look at a real picture of a seahorse you'll notice their tails are a bit thicker than what you've depicted. (although, if what you've done is intentional, your style, etc. then I don't mean to impose.)
Also, I suggest thinning the chest area a little bit. But again, if this is intentional, then nevermind.
maybe the line going down the side of the seahorse should be a bit more knobbly.
Otherwise, very awesome artwork :y:

The hair thing looks great! Forget about what I said about moving the skull though, I now realize that would look silly.

This looks good for your first project. But, you have a strong dark outline on the balloon and the mushroom, which seems to be missing in the hat. Also, the mushroom seems to be one pixel too wide on the right side. (I'm unsure if that was intentional.) other than that I think it's alright. :y:

For the side views maybe move the skull back about 1 pixel. It will help give it that round skull kind of shape. (If it was intentional though, you don't have to change it or anything.) Maybe add more hair near the top half of the back of the head as well. Anyways I think they look good so far! :y:
