Pixel Art / Game Animation Help
« on: December 11, 2008, 07:38:34 pm »
Hello there, I'm making a game with a friend and have made some animations, however I cannot find anything for the Mac (Too old to use Pixen) to animate them with. So I don't know where to improve them and what needs fixing. I would be extremely greatful to anyone who would animate them for me, thanks.

This is the jumping animation, please add a little height to him when jumping in the air.

This is him walking, or running. It's hard to tell when you can't see him animated  ;D

Character is copyright of Monocle Games, and massive thanks to anyone who helps.

I was going to have a boot stamping Ptoing's avatar into the ground  :), but I have nothing to animate it with except Flash or Fireworks.

I downloaded it, unarchived it. Then double clicked on the icon, it briefly pops up in the thingamajig (the bar at the bottom :S) then disappears with nothing happening.

Better consult paw.

Edit: Crap, Pixen can only tun on v10.4, I have v10.3!

Hmmm, I'll just have to wait till I have saved up enough pennies to buy a computer. The next PC gamer (which should be coming soon seeing how Edge was just delivered) has good computers for under £100. But I want to save up for one around the £400 line to rival my brothers  ;D

Here I am going on about my life story again!

Hello everyone, I am making a small game with a friend and have some sprites finished. But I was wondering what software you use to make run animations ect? I had a search on here but couldn't find much help, so I decided to post a topic. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I'm also using a Mac and have made the sprites in Photoshop.

Ah yes, it's close between 2 and 3 for me. I think I would go with 2.
