Did you mean mario game as in a scrolling platformer?

I got an idea for one based off a game I used to play on the calculator, problem is figuring out a good way to represent it without it sucking to bad.

It may be convenient but I don't really think that it makes a lot of sense, in particular with the coming from another plane, which should probably have a size change, in addition having a damaged turn animation is probably unneeded if it is used to 'activate' an enemy, as they shouldn't be damaged prior to entering combat (of course there is no problem with having them fight when damaged, just seems unusual to me), unless you also have them leave with it when damaged, in which case that could cause confusion for the player as enemies that are leaving look the same as those just joining.

I have a question about the game, why do you have a turning animation if it is a side view game, the dead-on (almost, I think that a bit of the front may be seen still) perspective implies that it isn't going to be on a plane that is changing depth so that type of turn doesn't seem needed at all.

With the propulsion flame/flare assuming that it is in a start-continuous-final setup for the frames (unless it moves via burst) shouldn't the final part of the flame/flare produce the least light on the ship as it is an existing lightsource disappearing

With the crash, the last couple frames seem alright to me, but the ones during compression of the ship don't, it seems like it is deflating and happens to slowly.  Part of what throws it off is that the ship comes to a stop prior to the explosion, the top section of the ship should probably rip off and continue going somewhat forward/down (or you could just make it look like deformation) instead of stopping like that.

Biggest thing that I saw was that it seems incredibly out of depth, the angle suggests a front top camera, but the size of the legs and of everything in general I guess seems to imply that the feet are closest to the camera, but I don't really get a sense of depth from any of the shading, it all seems like it is on the same plane.

If you care about color conservation at all the number of near-whites could be reduced by quite a few, if not then you could use the same mid-shades that the arms and legs have on the hands so they seem smoother.

Needs contrast, at a quick glance I couldn't see anything but a single shape, bump up the contrast and lower the eyes, from what i think i see, they are about 2-3 pixels higher then they should be putting them on the forehead.  I'm not going to open up something to edit or examine it with right now but it also looks to need a light source defined so you can add depth.

Pixel Art / Re: need help feminizing

It definitely appears more feminine in the latest versions, but I can't help but wonder about the hair, each time I look at it the way the hair comes down to cover just bugs me, it seems like it should start at a closer to horizontal and curve to the vertical and back, as opposed to the way it drops immediately down, it just seems to far to the right for that type of a drop, to me.  Even a single pixel change (highest light pixel on the straight right edge of the brighter hair) to the shadow makes it seem a little more natural to me.  Something minor but it really throws it off for me :P

your last post, second from the right, the lips seem to fit the face the best, the next one to the right is alright as well but the lips seem a little to stretched.

could you edit those links into images. You cna't expect someone to go through and click every link to find what they want
apart from a possible image liimit per post (not sure about that here but I know other places have it) that would have a massive load time, even for people that aren't on high-speed, as well as taking quite a bit of time to do..

the dark-mid section is readable at 1x, it's the light-mid that needs higher contrast for readability.

not really a fan of mixing styles within a peace (leaves vs. wood), the outline on the staff itself is kinda... blah.

based on the original highlight on the chest I think that the bottom inside of the top needs to be lit up a bit more, the light should be hitting it almost directly.
