Went back to an old project trying to make edits and additions









I for sure want to make a top-down rpg similar to the classic games, but with a makeover and a new perspective.
I tried to put more perspective into the in-game mockup but I still feel it is lacking.
Also added more scenes and additional content, most of it still needs touch up.
Anyone have any edits, comments, or critiques to add? Anything helps

I put together a few scenes. Let me know if they feel fantasy-like or what I should do to make them better.
I am also trying to craft an overworld with an isometric perspective, but don't know what is the best angle?

It seems sorta dead. :/ I used to love this community but there doesn't seem much participation but the occasional holiday competition. Did something happen? Is this mostly used as a [Jobs] and [Paid Offers] board now? I know there was a discord channel for awhile, did the community move there?? Is there another more active community I am unaware of? There was DeviantArt back in the early 2000's, and PixelJoint and PixelDailies on Twitter but even those communities seem gone too. Where can someone go to find an active thriving supportive pixelart community now?

but am stumped with artist's block on what to do with it all
