Hey there!
This is to anyone who's had Lag/input delay using GraphicsGale on a SurfacePro device.

Go to: Windows Search bar -> "Pen settings" -> tick the box "Let me use my pen as a mouse in some desktop apps"

Pixel Art / GraphicsGale help plz! [Solved]
« on: December 12, 2017, 05:11:00 pm »
Anyone tech savvy know how to fix this error?

GraphicsGale doesn't let me load files via Drag and Dropping it into the canvas like it used to.
I can load files the slightly more time consuming way by going to "File" -> "Open", but it's frustrating that the way I stated above randomly stopped working.

note: This error had arisen even before I updated GraphicsGale to 2.07

Thanks in advance y'all!  :)

Pixel Art / Re: [WIP] - Feedback needed for a pixel tree
« on: November 18, 2017, 05:45:05 pm »
As Hunited suggested- The angle in which you created this tree isn't Top-down.
Currently it feels like a 2D Sidescroller Tree with a slight drop-shadow  ;D

From a top-down view, you would only be able to see the foliage, since it's from directly above. Take this as an example:

Alternatively, theres the more popular 3/4 View, which is in my opinion a more appealing perspective. A tree in this perspective, you would be able to see both the Foliage, and a limited amount of the tree trunk itself. Take Zelda as an example:

Hopefully this helped  :)

Pixel Art / Re: Shading Direction

Heyyo- Nice edits so far.

I feel the arms themselves feel alright, however the hands are way too small to convey the perspective you're trying to illustrate.
(Minor thing i noticed about the arm on the left, it looks a tiny bit thinner than her other arm)

Side note: Not a necessary change but a suggestion nonetheless; In the GIF you're referencing, the girl has her arms touching her sides, whereas here its got a spacing. The arms here still look good and natural, but that was just something to point out :p
