Actually I posted this pic on my website, which for some reason is being gay so you shouldn't have to dl anything. And to Pawige, thanks for the input, I think I may go with number four.  ;D

Pixel Art / space marines crouching, need help with pose

First of all, I gotta give credit to Pawige for editing these and making them better. I think I'm gonna go with his style of things for the sprites :) . I made a few marines crouching, each with slight alterations and I'm just wondering which one you guys all think look better. Just put it down on the forum here, thanks!

Yeah, you did. Can u post the bmp so that I can get a good look at the real colors/shades that u used? That would really help.

Holy crap that looks sweet. Dr Feng, do u actually play Warhammer 40K? Cuz it looks like you know a lot about the subject just by looking at the pic. (I play quite a bit myself with friends and such.). Any way you would continue this game?

Pixel Art / Re: Metal slug type sprite

Alright, I'm no pro at spriting, but I have studied Metal Slug sprites for a while now. The ones you've made are pretty good, but here are some tips. Make the body more smaller, cartoonish. It looks nice, but it also looks to realistic. Also, use less antialiasing. Metal Slug hardly ever used antialiasing, sometimes a bit of dithering yes, but rarely antialiasing. Also, each color set like skin, hair, shirt, etc. was limited to four colors. The lightest shade where the light hit, the normal color, a darker shade, and an much darker shade for details or very dark areas. Hope this helps, and so far your doing a good job.
