I did not see this thread prior and paid Joshua money upfront to do some pixel art. He has also disappeared on me  :yell:.
He used the name "Astro" when he contacted me and will attempt to convince you on Skype to use Western Union's delivery method "cash at agent location" to send to his so-called fiancee.
I have filed a complaint with Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3), hopefully they will be able to do something to put a stop to him.

Job offers / [PAID] Need Isometric Pixel Art/Illustrations/Logo
« on: December 29, 2015, 11:34:56 pm »
Hello, I am working on a personal project and seek to have graphics done for it. In particular I need isometric pixel art, illustrations, and a logo created. The illustrations and logo will be based off sketches I have made myself. I don't necessarily need all three things to be done by just one person so if you have interest in just one that is fine.

I need illustrations of the same type of quality work below created:
http://einsbern.daportfolio.com/gallery/877254#3

The isometric pixel art will be done on a 78x40 pixels isometric cell.

Pixel Art Feature Chest / Re: Pixel Art by Kaz

Not the best, but a quick way I approach pieces

Instead of a large amount of colors close to each other, uses less colors and make them differentiate from each other well meaning for example:
1. A color/shade where little to no light touches
2.A color/shade where some light touches
3. A color/shade being hit by light directly
and etc.......
(Basically what Ymedron said)

Thank you for all the feedback everyone, I am going to focus on finishing my computer science degree in college. I will be also working on game design and doing pixel art weekly as a hobby to continue improving while having less pressure doing it.

My career goal is to develop my own game company so I have been trying to get good at more than one thing that is required to make them. I have been trying to work between programming and doing artwork, but it just seems to make me frustrated. I am currently in college majoring in Computer Science. I think that maybe I should focus on programming till i graduate, then start working more on practicing game art. Any suggestions appreciated! ;D
