I like this alot has a lot to look at. I must say that ur man in yellow at the top at first i was wondering what the hell he was doing and it took me to realise the brown thing is a table i'd try making that more obviouse that its a table.

The vent 'rendering' if you used traditional metal shading methods it would be way too detailed for the style of the piece same for the windows. I'm not saying what you have done is perfect coz it does need some work but i think your attept is fine. Too be honest for metal in simple style iso i would have done something very similar.

With the windows at the mo they are white i dont know any windows that are white if you make them translecent so they still have colour to them but u can see the the inside of the building coming through but with light shades that will help with the windows. Then just add a few refraction lines and that will fit with the style.

I hope you find what i said useful even though it is like a essay lol.

Hi, on ur first post u said that there was a male and a female but i couldnt tell the difference between the two. One major reason is the female had no chest. Also i'm not too sure why ur missing the black outline in places i'd either keep the outline round the whole image or remove it and shade accordingly.

Are you trying to follow the stereotypical RPG style or are aiming for something cartoony?

You might want to perfect the Doll before you start animating and things because going back and redoing everything after you have recieved crits will be a long and tideous process.

In my previouse post i spoke about 'twisting' and i found this piece by schrumpfkopf which demonstrates what i ment like the twisting from the roots to the top.

Hope it helps.

If u think of a cube (which is what ur building is) the extreamly basic shading rule is to have 1 side dark, 1 side medium and 1 side light (normally the top). The black lines on the inside of the piece seperating the sides from the top and serperating the two sides if you make that light aswell it makes it look smoother.

Also what was said before about the fence is right coz the top of the fenc is 1 pixel out of the bottom of the building it looks like it is flat, problems like this arise alot in iso so ur not the only one lol. Sometimes it works to your advantage though coz u can make impossbile objects (refering to MC ESHER)...... going off topic lol so ill end no...

To me the angle of the portch is completely out in conparison to the dome at the back of the building.

Madness love the textures lots of levels and for the colours used its impressive. My crits have been previously expressed. Can't wait for the final piece.

The thing with rocks they are like diamonds loads of sides, levels and textures your rocks are too rounded. Experience with roughing them up a bit i'd do the same to the tree too as the tree is smooth and there is no sign on bark.

An easy way to add to the tree is to imagine you grab the top of the tree and twist it. I would do a demo but im at work and dont have paint lol. What im trying to say is it needs to look twisted like where the roots enter the tree they should carry on going up the tree but around it if u get what i mean. lol Have a look at some other peoples tree posted on pix. :D

THANKS! :D

I like the drawing it's very good as is the pixel piece but i would give the pixel piece more of an angle like in the drawing to add depth to it as it is its face on - i dunno just a thought. :D
