So anyone that still wants to submit totems may do so.

Don't mind if I do ;D

(I realized a wee bit too late that this one is an odd number of pixels wide. Sorry!)

Wow, I can't believe my old account still works. Hello Pixelation! How are you all doing? :D

Fixed (or at least attempted to fix): ribcage; highlights; jello hand; square fingers.
Not fixed: cloth thing, because I have absolutely no idea how (and believe me, I tried); left leg, because I don't really see what's wrong with it; high boobs, because to be honest, I like the way it is now, and I do think that it works.

I have to say I'm pretty satisfied with the way this piece looks now. I'm also pretty tired of working on it :P and I think it's time I move on to something else, so I hereby declare Miss Six-Arms finished. Thank you to everyone who replied and shared their crits with me, you guys really helped improve this piece muchly, and I've learned a lot in the process. You rock :y:

Interesting lineart. The girl on the top looks good, but the one on the bottom needs some work. It's almost like she has a snout instead of a nose, and I can't tell whether her eye is opened or closed. Also, her shoulder is hueg.

well, its not really as bad as all the topless fantasy chickies you see in here, at least there wearing clothes LOL
lol whut

Just wanted to say how much I love this piece. The composition, the trees, the figure in the background, the way you used the colours... it's beautiful :)

Well, this update certainly took more time than it should have. I'm a slow pixeller...

-->

Old on the left, new on the right. I changed and added some colours (totalling 16 now, including transparency), added some AA in various places, tried to fix the boobs (not sure if this looks better or worse...) and made some minor cosmetic changes.

I'm really not sure if I'm on the right track with piece. The AA looks kind of messy to me, and the outlines are still very jagged. Should I just keep adding colours until everything is AA'd or is there a more elegant solution?

Wow, that looks a lot better :o Less jaggies, as you said, but also much nicer colours. *saves it for further examination*

I'm not so fond of her left knee though...

Thanks Sherman!

Hi! My name is Sonja, I'm 23 and I hail from Europe's flatlands (aka Holland). I've been trying my hand at pixel art for a while, so I decided, after a lot lurking, to finally join this forum in the hopes of becoming better.

Let's see, what else... I like videogames, books, arthouse movies, designer toys, experimental muffins, and this smiley --> :B

And I think I just saw Bruce Lee wink at me. Heh, I love this place already.

Thank you! The hands were rather difficult, so I'm happy that you like them ;D

I tried removing some of the shine on the skin, but to be honest, I think I prefer the shiny version. This makes it look a little too dull...

Long time lurker, first time poster, reporting for duty. Hello all, nice to meet you!

I have to admit I feel a little nervous about posting here, I haven't been pixelling very long so I'm not very skilled yet :-[ But here goes...

It's a... topless hindu spider cow smurf god. Or something. Uh, anyway, I've put a lot of time and effort into this piece, but it still just doesn't look good to me. Maybe I've been staring at it too long, I'm not sure... I would be very grateful if any of you could tell me what you think. Thanks for your time :)
